This helmet is basic, black, and built well. It’s a one-size-fits-all, so you simply place it on your head and turn the adjustment dial. Once you have it secure enough, this helmet won’t fall off even if you haven’t secured the chin strap! I tested out the helmet’s “protection” by banging my head (hard) into a solid cement wall 3 times in succession on the front, and the left and right sides. Surprisingly, the compressed styrofoam lining of the helmet didn’t cause me any pain. I can say I feel safe with this helmet, and it provides a good buffer between one’s hard head and a hard surface. And being a 6’2” male with a relatively large head, I’m certain this helmet will work for most riders. I also tried it on my 15 yr old daughter who is 5’5” and very petite, and it fits her well and securely. I also want to note how insanely exceptional isinwheel customer service has been in their communication and accommodation when it came to my purchase and use of the V10 board, this helmet, and also a replacement part I need and I’m still waiting for delivery of (truck bushings). Customer service is handled by email, but all 15+ times I’ve communicated with them, they’ve responded, fully and thoughtfully, totally eager to resolve issues or concerns, and always within 24 hours (except on Sat since they’re apparently out of the office then).
