Good for getting around town.

This bike is great for getting around town long battery life with pedal assist. Expect to pedal for hilly areas. This bike has a 500w rear hub motor works great for flat areas and paved areas. It goes up to 20mph no problem. But definitely not for offroad hills etc..

I have put on over 230miles on it the last 45 days.
I definitely ride it. ALOT.

Great

I am enjoying my bike. Get more miles out of a charge than other bikes I’ve used. 56 miles and still had one bar left on the battery.

Good commuter bike - don't expect it to do more and you will be satisfied

Review after two weeks and one hundred miles of riding. My use is mostly commuting about eight miles round trip on trails and bike lanes and some nearby grocery runs. No off-road or other "hard use".

The bike was easily assembled in about an hour. Some of the instructions are not perfectly clear, but if you take your time and are patient, the whole thing will come together. All necessary tools are included, which is a plus.

The included saddle hurts my butt, but that is par for the course. Saddles are personal things and I will be replacing it with one that fits me better.

One quirk is that in pedal assist mode, the included speedometer does not show your speed if you go over the pedal assist speed. So if you are in pedal assist mode 2 (12.5 MPH) and pedal hard enough to go over that speed, the speedometer stays at 12.5 MPH.

The pedals are far forward enough that you can clip your toes with the front wheel while turning the first few times you ride. I haven't had any problems learning to put my feet a little further back on the pedals after the first few times.

The fenders are a little loose and rattle when going over bumpy pavement.

Mine came with the guard over the real derailleur slightly bent out of shape, which prevented shifting into the top gear. A little careful wrenching and bending fixed that.

While this sounds like a litany of complaints, I want to emphasize that OVERALL, this bike does a good job of getting me to and from work without working up a sweat! It is very pleasant to ride and will be even better with a saddle that fits my butt. It makes going up the long low-grade hills a joy. And have I mentioned I can get to work on a bike without being sweaty and red-faced?

For my purposes--light use of maybe ten urban miles a day--this bike is a bargain. It's not for racing or off-road riding. It's a commuter bike. It has a few quirks, but nothing that prevents it from serving that purpose.

E-bike review

I love almost everything about my new bike except for the seat, which I found uncomfortable after riding for about 30 minutes. I tried getting a padded seat cover but it didn’t help. I think it’s the shape of the seat. I am planning on buying a new wider seat to hopefully make for a more comfortable ride.

U2 Electric bike

Just assembled the bike today, all went fairly well, and I am pleased with how well it is made. We are looking forward to taking it out for its first ride.
